RULES
1) 2019 Disciplines Piano ● 4 hands 2 pianos ● Strings ●Harp ● Chamber Music ● Voice ● Vocal groups ● Guitar ● Drama ● Jazz ● Composition ● Piano accompaniement (WINDS in 2020 )
2) Free Program All programs are free DURATING 7 min (initial audition)10 min half final and 15 min (Final Round).
Notes: Composition: Work must be for a voice or string instrument and piano, not longer than 8 minutes.
3) Conditions There are no age limits.
4) Registration fees must be paid before on SEPTEMBER, the 15 in 2019 as follows: 80 € for soloists and composers / 100 € for all groups. Fees are not refundable.
5) Time schedule will be communicated in advance. Candidates must contact the Office in case of a lack of information.
6) Accompaniment A piano accompanist is at the disposal of needing soloists. Concerned candidates must add 50€ to the fee and send the piano scores.
7) Awards For every single discipline, the Jury will select one 1st, one 2nd and one 3rd Prize Winners. All the 1st Prizes may be elected Honor Prize* as well, giving the chance to the concerned candidates to run for « Super Winner » during the Gala Concert of the Bellan Foundation, when the audience will vote with the Jury. All decisions are final. *includes a concert offered for the Bellan Foundation
8) Results All results are given on the same day of performance and displayed on the website of the Competition.
9) Changings Dates may vary and some disciplines may merge. Updates are immediately displayed on the Competition’s website.
10) Webwinner All Finalists run for Webwinner through FACEBOOK and YouTube (competition based on "Iike"+ viewed et the date choose by direction during 2019-2020, providing 500 € to the winner.
11) Copyright The Competition holds the right to broadcast/publish audio and video recordings of all contestants’ performances and cannot be held liable to any payment to the concerned artists.
12) Composition Selected works of candidates in Composition will be promoted and used for 2020 Edition, and should be presented before OCTOBER, the 10 2019.
13) Financial Aid Candidates with low incomes may apply for financial aid to pay their fee.
14) Exemptions All previous Bellan Competition Prize Winners, as Osaka selected candidates since 2017 are entitled to skip the Initial Audition, and vice versa. (www.timcompetition.org)
